L.A. Mitchell is a highly- regarded artist in New Zealand, known for her exceptional singing and performance skills. She made her debut in the live music scene with her standout album, Live at the Matterhorn in 2008 Since then, she has explored pop-rock with the band Dukes and collaborated with renowned New Zealand artists such as Sir Dave Dobbyn, Tim Finn, Bic Runga, and the mega-group Fly My Pretties. Her impressive resume includes supporting acts like Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, The Pretenders, Blondie, and INXS. More recently, she toured with Troy Kingi and Dallas Tamaira in the sold-out Bill Withers Social Club shows. Nestled in Ōtautahi, she creates folk music alongside her husband, Matt,with their band Terrible Sons, AMA finalist for this year’s Best Folk Artist.
This intimate solo piano performance showcases her exquisite interplay between keys and voice.
